“ This kind of my first real afgani resturants visit. Oh, the atmosphere is super beautiful. You wiil really learned a lot afganistan from this place, picture, carpet, music, food, very afgani style. If somebody wants to test real afganitani food, this shuld be the palce. More imporantly, the food is super good. I ordered half chicken tikka, which is super tendered, and really warm and flavorfull. The palce has a lot free parking spot and very close University of Virgina - 3 mintues drive. I would highly recommend this place. ”

The food is delicious - we tried the bolanee kadu (butternut squash turnovers), the manto (meat dumplings with yogurt), a few kabobs, and the aush soup (do not skip this!!!). All were winners! I’d especially go back for more of the manto dumplings and soup. The staff is also very warm and accommodating - they checked on us several times and make sure we were enjoying everything. This is a treasure in Charlottesville, and we will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area! ”

To the folks complaining about the fact that it is " too quiet" you guys must be the typical Americans that go to a place to talk about your trips and your shopping and EVERYBODY has to endure your conversation. This place is a gem!! The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The waiter is the very best waiter in Charlottesville, a very young man who is not only fast, but courteous, helpful and very respectful.
